Scan once. Try everything.

Buying glasses online means guessing how they'll look. SpecFit replaces the guess with a photograph.

Scan your face

Use the guided 3D sweep on Face ID iPhones, or upload one clear selfie. Your scan stays on your phone.

Preview, then try on

Your photo is the screen. Tap a frame to see it up close. Tap "Try on" to see it rendered on you, with real lighting and real shadows.

Compare & buy anywhere

Rotate in 3D, compare looks side by side, and share them. Found frames in a shop? Paste the link or photograph the pair. SpecFit renders those exact frames on your face.

What suits your face?

Contrast is the rule. Soft features suit crisp frames, and crisp features suit curves. SpecFit measures your face shape from the scan and matches it against the whole wall. This is the map it uses.

Fit check

Know the fit before you buy.

Paste a link to any glasses. SpecFit reads the size stamp, the shape, and the colour from the listing. It scores the frame against your measurements before you spend a credit. If a frame is 2 mm too narrow for your face, you know before you buy.

  • A match score in plain words. Width, shape, and colour are rated separately.
  • Fit checks are free. A credit is used only for the photoreal render.
  • A fit score on every chip. The whole style wall is rated after your scan.

PD · pupillary distance

Online opticians ask for one number. SpecFit measures it free.

Every online lens order stops at the same field: "Enter your PD." SpecFit measures it from your 3D depth scan, or estimates it from a single selfie. It then draws the measurement on your own photo, so you can see what was measured and where.

  • PD to ±1 mm from the TrueDepth scan.
  • Face width, bridge, and brow line drawn in place, with hints for frame sizes.
  • An honest estimate. It does not replace an optician's exam.

Privacy first

Your face scan never leaves your phone.

The 3D scan, mesh, and measurements are processed and stored on your device only. They are deleted when you delete your capture. Only the single photo you approve is sent, securely, to generate each render. It is never stored. It is never used to train anything. No account, no tracking, no ads.

Buy credits when you need them.

Try-on credits start from $4.99. No subscription. No account.

Try-on credits

$4.99 / 3 credits  ·  $9.99 / 7 credits  ·  $19.99 / 18 credits

  • 1 credit per try-on. A curated style, a store link, or a photo of a pair.
  • Fit checks on links are free. A credit is spent only when you render.
  • Sunglasses render twice for one credit: worn, and pushed up on your head.
  • A look you already rendered is always free to revisit.
  • Any pack upgrades quality. After your first purchase, every render uses the pro model.

Credits are a one-time purchase through the App Store. Nothing auto-renews. Prices are in USD, and local pricing may vary. Terms apply.

Questions, answered.

What is a PD (pupillary distance) measurement?

PD is the distance between the centres of your pupils, in millimetres. Online opticians need it to position your prescription lenses correctly. Most charge to measure it. SpecFit measures yours free from the guided 3D scan on Face ID iPhones, to about ±1 mm. It is an estimate, not a medical measurement. It does not replace an optician's exam.

Does it work without Face ID / TrueDepth?

Yes. Upload one clear selfie and every try-on feature works. Your PD and face measurements are estimated from the photo. The guided depth scan on Face ID iPhones makes them exact to about ±1 mm, and adds the 3D rotate view.

Can I try on glasses from any store?

Yes. Paste a product link from any online shop, or photograph a pair you found. SpecFit identifies the frames and renders them on your face in seconds. It costs one credit, the same as a curated style. A pasted link gets a free fit check first.

What does the fit score mean?

SpecFit checks every frame against your measurements. Width, shape, and colour are scored separately. The verdict is in plain words, for example: "This frame is about 2 mm too narrow for your face." Fit checks on pasted links are free. You spend a credit only when you render the look.

Is my face data private?

The scan never leaves your iPhone. Only the one photo you approve is sent, encrypted, to generate renders. It is not stored. No account, no tracking, no ads. Details are in the privacy policy.

Where can I download it?

SpecFit is free to download from the App Store. Try-on credits start from $4.99.
